Booking Conditions (last updated 22nd July 2021)

Our booking conditions are for your protection as well as ours and do not affect your legal rights as a customer.

Portugal Padel Tours (PPT) sets out in these conditions the terms on which you contract with us and our obligation to you.

  • At the time of booking, you should pay a deposit which is variable and is described in your tour proposal details.
  • This is your only financial commitment to us until 4 weeks prior to travel or as otherwise advised to you when the balance becomes due.
  • You will be sent an invoice you should carefully check the invoice for confirmation that the tour details are as we agreed.
  • The quoted prices take into account your confirmed number of people travelling, please be aware that surcharges may be applied in the case of reduced group size.
  • PPT is not responsible for any loss, expense or liability incurred as a result of accident, illness or injury during your tour.

Changes by us

  • It is unlikely that your tour accommodation will be changed, however, there may be circumstances beyond our control.
  • If a change becomes necessary you will be informed and accommodation of an equivalent standard will be offered.
  • Should the tour have to be cancelled or postponed due to causes of force majeure PPT we will offer new dates for your tour to be mutually agreed upon. You may accept the change or have the right to cancel without loss of money.

  • PPT reserve the right to cancel any tour should it deemed necessary and return the monies paid.

Changes by you

  • If changes to your tour are required by you, PPT will do all we can to assist.  If numbers travelling increase, we will do our utmost to accommodate them in the same hotel.  If a decrease in numbers travelling surcharges may apply.
  • If you wish to cancel your tour, you should give immediate notice to PPT. More than 30 days prior to travel only the deposit will be charged. Less than 30 days will incur the following cancellation charges.

29 to 21 days – 50%
20 to 14 days – 70%
13 to 8 days – 80%
7 to 0 days – 100%

Insurance

  • We would advise all passengers to have adequate insurance when travelling abroad and take out cover for playing sports.

Travel Documents

  • It is the responsibility of all individuals/group members to be in possession of a valid passport with at least 6 months left prior to the travel date.

Your Responsibility

  • PPT take no responsibility for the actions of travelling members behaviour and fully support the actions of hoteliers and carriers against those persons whose behaviour may be dangerous or disruptive.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure all passports and travel documents are in order.
  • It is your responsibility to be at the pick-up points at the stated times, failure to do so will mean you will need to arrange your own travel arrangements at your own cost.
  • You are responsible for all your own personal property.

Fixtures

  • PPT always endeavour to organise the best match arrangements possible for your group with our experience of fixtures with all ability levels. In the case of fixtures for teams with age categories, we make sure teams are matched up equally according to ages unless priorly discussed.
  • PPT cannot be held liable for the cancellation of matches due to circumstances outside of our control including weather conditions. If the match or tournament is cancelled for any reason PPT reserves the right to re-arrange a fixture at another appropriate date within the duration of the touring dates (conditions allowing) or arrange a fixture with another opponent not previously mentioned.
  • Please ensure that all local rules and regulations are respected and promptness for all matches are adhere to match and games times.
